For a festive Caesar worthy flourish, moisten each serving glass rim with lemon juice then dip into spicy mixture of 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper, 1/4 teaspoon celery salt and the zest of 1/2 lemon.
7 cups Tomato Clam Cocktail
1/3 cup prepared horseradish
1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil
Zest of 1 lemon
1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Hot sauce to taste
Springs of fresh basil
Vodka, optional
1. In a large pitcher, combine first five ingredients and mix well.
2. Add hot sauce to taste and mix well.
3. If desired moisten the glass rims with lemon juice than dip into spicy mixture of 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper, 1/4 teaspoon celery salt and the zest of 1/2 lemon.
4. Garnish with a lemon or lime slice and spring of fresh basil.
