Shortbread Cookies

Ingredients:
1¼ lb butter, softened
1¼ cups fruit sugar
4¼ cups all-purpose flour
2 cups mixed candied fruit
Direction:
- In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugar together.
- Slowly mix in the flour, a little at a time.
- On a clean work surface, knead dough well and roll out 1/4 inch
thick, cut into any shape you want and arrange on an ungreased cookie
sheet.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).
- Bake cookies for approximately 15 minutes or until edges are golden brown.
Makes 60 small cookies.
