French Crepes
Ingredients:
6 eggs
2 cups sifted flour
1 oz. butter, melted
1.oz sugar
1 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
Preparation:
- Beat
together until smooth six eggs and a pint sifted flour; melt one ounce of
butter and add to the batter, with one ounce of sugar and a cup of milk; beat
until smooth.
- Put 2 tablespoons of a batter at a time into a hot frying pan slightly greased,
spreading the batter evenly over the surface by tipping the pan about.
- Fry to a
light brown; spread with jelly, roll up, dust with powdered sugar and serve
hot.
