Unfermented Graham Bread
Ingredients:
4 teaspoons baking powder
3 cups graham flour
1 cup all purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup sugar
Warm milk or water (enough )
NOTE: If water is used instead of milk, a lump of butter as large as a walnut may
be melted and stirred into it.
Preparation:
- Stir together baking powder, graham flour and all purpose
flour; then add salt and half a cup of sugar. Mix all
thoroughly with enough milk or water to make stiff batter that can be stirred with a spoon.
- Bake immediately in well-greased pans.
