Easy Banana Dessert

This easy to prepare, sautéed in butter, banana dessert creates great texture. It softens them perfectly to create memorable combination of flavors with vanilla frozen yogurt or ice cream.

Ingredients:

3 large bananas, halved crosswise

2 tablespoons unsalted butter

1/4 cup organic coconut sugar

2 tablespoons water

1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Vanilla frozen yogurt or ice cream


Makes 6 servings.

Directions:

1. Peel and cut bananas crosswise.

2. In large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add bananas and cook, stirring gently, for about 2 minutes or until bananas are warm and softened.

3. Add organic coconut sugar, water and cinnamon. Cook and stir until sugar is melted, being careful not to break up bananas.

4. Put vanilla frozen yogurt or ice cream in 6 serving dishes.

5. Spoon warm bananas and some sauce over frozen yogurt or ice cream and serve immediately.
