This lemon sauce is a good sauce to go with most plain fruit puddings and it can also be used with other desserts. Use your imagination.
1/2 cup sugar
1 tablespoon corn starch
Few grains of salt
1 cup boiling water
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1. Mix the sugar, corn starch, and salt, and add the water gradually; stirring constantly.
2. Boil 5 minutes and remove from the heat.
3. Add the butter and lemon juice.
4. Serve immediately.
